How did Tim start this business and why?

I’ve been working for myself as a gardener for 15 years now and as I have gotten older and my back has got worse and my arms suffer with tendonitis I’ve decided I need to stop doing big hedges and digging over flowerbeds. So last summer I bit the bullet and bought “Bob”, a little 1 ton Bobcat digger so now I can really explore my artistic side in creating amazing spaces for people and improving their lives through their gardens.

What experience does Tim have?

I grew up on a smallholding and then spent the first 15 years of my working life working on organic farms, gardening and driving excavators.

What equipment can Tim use?

Everything, lol. What I don’t have I hire. And my van is a mobile workshop so I can fix pretty much anything.

What equipment does Tim own without having to rent?

So as I mentioned earlier, I have a micro digger (excavator) with the usual 3 buckets, but I also have an auger with two drill bits, one 100mm and one 225mm that are both a metre long that I bought for drilling holes for posts or planting trees and other such things. I’ve also fitted a thumb to the digger to make it easier to pick things up. I also have an extensive range of gardening tools and tools to help with the handyman services and workshop tools.

What are Tim’s passions?

I just love helping people and improving their lives and wellbeing through fixing things. When I’m not working for others I’m working for myself, fixing my tools, van and trailer. I’m also improving my own life by building an off grid workshop and eco house! I also like walking in the countryside. On those rare occasions when I make time, lol.
